Hey my lovelies... I have been bad. I haven't written in this in weeks.... :'( I'm sorry!!!

I haven't been slacking too hard on art though. Just writing about it. My Reaper I haven't touched in a while but I did fix some proportions and trace him onto a cleaner piece of paper. I started coloring him a little bit but I do not have a picture of that yet. 

Also last week, my friend Natalie and my sister Sarah took an art class at Michael's art store in Orem, UT. We didn't finish in class but I am currently still working on mine and plan on finishing it.

I have worked a bit more on mine since then. I added more detail into the flowers and vase and colored in the stems. 

I actually learned some cool tricks in that art class. I learned a good way to paint a light color over a dark background is to fill it in with white gesso before painting your lighter color on top. I also learned a really cool way to transfer your drawing from a piece of paper onto the canvas. You cover the back of the paper with black charcoal, tape the paper over your canvas and trace your drawing and it will transfer onto the canvas. I am so happy I learned that because I have always hated drawing on my canvas because I am such a messy artist and I leave eraser marks everywhere!!! 

Totally unrelated note... it is super windy, and stormy outside and listening to the thunder is just... <3
