Right now I am working on a digital drawing of my OC's Jack and Christine.
I've been having a ton of fun with the background. I'm keeping the flower theme going for now. I've decided I want to take a more abstract approach to backgrounds since I've always had a hard time with them.
I have a color pallet for this drawing too. It helps me make sure my colors all go together well.
I use a website called coolors.com to make my color pallets.
I actually started this drawing in September and finally decided to start working on it again.
This was my original concept for this drawing.
Jack hasn't changed as much but Christine I decided to put in a whole new pose. I am not using any specific reference photos, which will be good for me to learn how to draw on my own and draw from my own imagination. That however doesn't mean I can't use some reference photos and place them together. Such as for the background I found some pictures of flowers and leaves to give me an idea.
Now all I have to do is shading and add in some finishing touches! I am sure I can have this drawing done by the end of the week if I keep working at it!
